Aggravation.
New piece for my illustrated novel: Caldyra. This one was a struggle because I couldn't get my mind set on the right angle or focus, at first.
Had fun playing around with the blood magic!

Finished work.
An old sketch I didn't like. Playing around with the idea of a mirror.
Another angle I tried.. but I realised I rather wanted to focus on the magic and the woman's face.
Finally a composition I liked.

Considering the backdrop, based on other illustrations I made for the same scene. Though leaving it out of focus so the details wouldn't kill the details I was planning for the foreground.
