Asking the right questions.

I used to study materials quite a lot and then mentor others to what I've learned from doing so.
These were some of the sheets that helped explain about what kind of questions you need to answer in painting materials. As well as some of the many studies I've painted to train my own understanding. I was also experimenting a bit between making it very tightly rendered and more painterly.
